Le Meurice

A lot of things can be said about this wonderful hotel and beautiful but mostely I'm interested in the hotel bar!
Named Bar 228 after the hotel's address on 228 rue de Rivoli. Totally reinterpreted by Philippe Starck in 2007, the warm and hushed decor remains faithful to its origins with wooden bar stools and leather chairs. The atmosphere is subtly warmed by the crackling glow of tobacco shades and highlighted by the sparkle of rare crystal decanters and a couple of jazz musicians...
Indulge yourself in the 300 drink references (17 exclusive creations, such as the Cocktail Starcky or The 228).

High-tea.
Every day from 3.30 p.m. until 6.30 p.m. Meurice offers the Afternoon Tea " à la Française": Delicate finger sandwiches, traditional scones, inventive macaroons, French cakes, mini fruit tarts and imaginative pastries. Choose among our wide selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolates or dare a glass of champagne! Yummy.
