A very famous brunch place - or so it seems with the whole Marais' local crowd gathering here every sunday for a brunch, or so it seems - the line goes all around the building and that can be a very overwhelming and downhearted feeling when you arrive hungry on a late sunday morning.
I guess it's not very positive to start a post with a warning, but I think that it's just as important to mention as their huge lemon tarte. Get here around 11am and you'll be fine.
It's authentic. Actually the place looks like they went to the Clignancourt market and bought a bunch of vintage furniture and plastered the walls with old theater posters, it feels very homey and very arty french.
The brunch is about 22 euro. You get a café creme in a bowl (a la bretagne), viennoise and toast in a little basket, fresh juice and a yoghurt/or fruit compote.
For dessert i highly recommend trying the lemon tarte, even if you're not a huge fan it's still fascinating ordering a mountain of cloud on a small plate!
